Ezekiel 37:4-10 There’s more in the bones = TITLE. 1. See more than a valley, believe it’s an assignment. V1“The hand of the Lord was on me, and He brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones.” 2. Offer more than a prayer, begin to prophesy V4“Then He said to me, ‘Prophesy to these bones and say to them, “Dry bones, hear the Word of the Lord!”’” Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Romans 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. 3. Expect more than new life, become a disciple. 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone.8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them. 9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army. Ephesians 2:1 - You were dead Ephesians 2:5 - But God made us alive with Christ. Ephesians 2:10 - Created in Christ Jesus to do good works. Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. john 20:21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
